Money
Money Making
Looking to build up your bank? There are several ways to earn GP depending on your stats, gear, and preferences. Here's a quick guide to help you get started:
For Newcomers
If you're just starting out and don’t have much GP, the best option is to follow the Slayer master at ::slayer
. Slayer tasks give a steady stream of loot, and you’ll build up your combat stats and points to spend in the Slayer store. Note: slayer becomes more profitable once you reach 65 slayer where you unlock hard tasks. Additionally, at 85 slayer you will unlock elite tasks, further increasing your returns.
Whether you decide to start with slayer or the methods below, be sure to vote and sell the vote points in the trading post (::tp
) as this gives you a small boost to start out with and provides an additional 5% drop rate for 12 hours! You can vote every 12 hours by typing ::vote
in game.
If Slayer isn’t your thing, you can also try:
- Scurrius
- Zulrah
- Armoured Zombies in Zemouregal's Base
- Araxytes in the Morytania Spider Cave
- Other accessible dungeons and training zones
Mass Bossing (Low Requirements)
Even with low stats or limited gear, you can still participate in mass bossing events that happen regularly. These include:
Tip: Check where the masses are happening and adjust accordingly — it’s a great way to earn loot with a team.
High-Level PvM (Best GP/H)
For high-level players with strong setups, the best money per hour typically comes from:
- Phantom Muspah
- Raids – Tombs of Amascut (ToA), Theatre of Blood (ToB), Chambers of Xeric (CoX)
- Desert Treasure II Bosses
These require solid gear and game knowledge but offer some of the best profit potential in the game.
PvP for Profit
While PvP is generally less consistent GP/H than PvM, many players prefer it for the thrill and variety. By PKing, you can earn:
- Coins
- Seasonal event pearls
- Blood money
- Bounty points
Combine PvP fun with a steady income — just make sure you're geared and ready.
