Xamphur
Preparing for the fight
Xamphur is a relatively easy boss, but it’s debatable whether it’s worth attempting with low-level gear as it is much less efficient. That being said, with a blowpipe it is still relatively fast.
Best in slot here is the scythe and your best melee gear.
Alternatively, you can use a blowpipe and your best ranged gear (recommended for players without a scythe). A crossbow can also be used, but it is quite slow.

How to get there
- Use the teleport tree at
::Home. - Run through the corridor and enter the gate to reach Xamphur’s arena.
The Fight
Upon entering the arena:
- Pray Magic.
- Dump a defence-lowering spec on Xamphur.
- Keep attacking her until she dies.
The circles on the floor will damage you if you walk on them, so avoid stepping on them.
Xamphur special attacks
She has two special attacks:
Hand attack
- Xamphur summons two hands (level 47) to attack you.
- They have low hitpoints.
- With a scythe, you can ignore them and focus on Xamphur.
- Note: the hands will drain your prayer (12 prayer points over 18 seconds if their corruption hits).
Ghostly hands
- Xamphur spawns ghostly hands that crush the tile you are standing on.
- Move around the room to avoid damage.
- You can Woox walk to keep attacking while dodging, or simply keep moving until the attack ends.
Gear recommendations
Inventory: super combat/bastion potion, restores and food and thralls, or veng if you do not have thralls.
- Melee (Best in slot): Scythe + BIS melee gear.
Bandos → Vesta → Oathplate
- Ranged (Alternative): Blowpipe + BIS ranged gear.
Void → Morrigans → Masori
- Low-tier option (not recommended): Crossbow.
