Barrows

Barrows is a combat-focused minigame where players fight the six Barrows Brothers for a chance to earn powerful armour pieces and other valuable rewards.

How to Get There

Use the Teleport Tree at home and select Barrows.

To enter the Barrows tombs, you must bring a spade. Walk onto the top of any mound and use the spade to dig — this will make you enter the corresponding brother’s tomb.

How to Kill

During fights, you will occasionally lose prayer points when a brother’s face appears on your screen. Keep an eye on your prayer and use a dose of a Prayer potion or Super restore when needed.

Each brother has straightforward mechanics — the main focus is on using the correct prayer for each fight.

You will need to kill all 6 brothers to receive a drop. You must dig into all tombs and search the tomb, which will summon the respective brother. After you kill one, climb the stairs and dig on top of another mound.

Melee Brothers (Use Protect from Melee)

For all of these brothers, you will want to use magic and pray melee.

Note: Verac can hit through pray occasionally, this is why you will bring food with you.

• Verac the Defiled
• Guthan the Infested
• Dharok the Wretched
• Torag the Corrupted

Ranged Brother (Use Protect from Missiles)

For this brother, you will want to use either your best melee or range gear and pray range.

• Karil the Tainted

Magic Brother (Use Protect from Magic)

For this brother, you will want to use either your best melee or range gear and pray mage.

• Ahrim the Blighted

Rewards

The final (sixth) brother you defeat will automatically drop your loot directly into your inventory. If you have no free inventory space, the loot will appear on the ground beneath you.
