Sunfire Runes are a powerful custom rune type used for spellcasting, item charging, and forging high-tier equipment. They are crafted by players and serve as a superior alternative to traditional Fire Runes.
Crafting Sunfire Runes
To create Sunfire Runes, you need:
- 1 Sunfire Splinter
- 1 Fire Rune
- 1 Rune Essence
This combination yields 10 Sunfire Runes.
Combat Effect
When used with offensive fire spells, Sunfire Runes guarantee a minimum hit of 10% of your max hit on successful attacks. This makes them highly effective for consistent damage output in PvM and PvP scenarios.
Charging Items
Sunfire Runes are required to charge several powerful weapons and gear pieces. Charged items gain enhanced effects, making these runes essential for maximizing performance in both PvM and PvP.
The following items can be charged with Sunfire Runes:
- Tumeken's Shadow – 10 Sunfire Runes per charge
- Scythe of Vitur – 10 Sunfire Runes per charge
- Holy Scythe of Vitur – 10 Sunfire Runes per charge
- Sanguine Scythe of Vitur – 10 Sunfire Runes per charge
- Tome of Fire – 1 Sunfire Rune per charge
Each use of these weapons consumes a charge, so maintaining your rune supply is key to sustaining their power.
Other Uses
Imbuing God Capes
- Use 150 Sunfire Runes and Revenant Ether on a god cape to imbue it.
Forging Ancient Rings
- You need 500 Sunfire Runes in order to make the different Ancient Icons aside from the other needed items which is used to create the Ancient Rings.
- This process is permanent and non-reversible.
Creating the Noxious Halberd
To forge the powerful Noxious Halberd, you must combine the following:
- Leviathan's Lure
- Siren's Staff
- Eye of the Duke
- Executioner's Axe Head
- 2,000 Sunfire Runes
This is a one-way process and cannot be undone.
