King of the Hill

The King of the Hill (KoTH) event is a competitive clan-based activity where clans battle to conquer specific zones for points and rewards. Only verified clans can participate to earn points and win OSRS prizes.

Event Details

  • Clans must conquer the designated area and hold it to earn points.
  • The event occurs every Sunday at 21:30 server time and lasts for one hour.
  • Players can teleport to the event by typing ::koth, which provides three teleport options.
  • To teleport directly to a specific location, type ::koth 1, ::koth 2, or ::koth 3 (e.g., ::koth 3 for the third location).
  • As a clan owner, you can specify who is allowed to join the KOTH event through the 'Who can enter events?' option. By default, it is recruit+.

Maps

The event rotates through three maps, each featuring distinct capture zones:

  1. Spider Hill in the Wilderness
  2. Falador Centre
  3. Demonic Ruins (GDZ)

Capture zones are marked by visible orbs, making it easier for players to identify the areas they need to control.

Event Concept

The King of the Hill event is divided into three 15-minute rounds, each held on a different map. Between rounds, clans have a 5-minute break to regroup and strategize.

Earning Points

  • Clans earn 10 points per minute while occupying the capture zone in the first round, second round 20 points, third round 30 points per minute.
  • Points can also be earnt by killing members of opposing clans. Each kill grants 1 point.

Combat Class Requirements

Each round is restricted to a specific combat class:

  • Mains: Players must have a combat level of 126.
  • Pures: Players must have a Defence level of 1 and a combat level between 82 and 88.

Combat class restrictions are announced in the quest tab and via a yellow broadcast message. The pure combat class will only appear once.

Team Cap

  • Each verified clan can have up to 25 members participating in the event per round.

Tracking Progress

Players can view their points and round information in the ::events tab.

Rewards

The top three clans are rewarded based on their performance:

  • #1: 175M OSRS
  • #2: 50M OSRS
  • #3: 25M OSRS
