Callisto & Artio Guide

Callisto and Artio are bear-themed bosses located in the Wilderness. Callisto is the stronger version with better drops but comes with higher risk, while Artio is a safer alternative—especially within the Donator Zone (DI).

How to Get There

Callisto (Wilderness)

• Callisto offers better drops but is harder to kill and located in a multi-combat zone.
• It is recommended to fight Callisto with a group.
• Use the teleport command ::deepwild and run north-west to reach the cave entrance.

Artio (Wilderness)

• For the Wilderness version:
  • Use ::ferox, exit through the north gate, and run north-west.

Artio (Donator Zone)

You must have Warlord rank to use this zone for Artio.

• At the Donator Zone (::di):
  • You can access a safe instance of Artio.
  • Instance options:
    • Create a private instance for 1B GP (2 days)
    • Use the free, public version (may be busy)

Note: Revenant weapons are not recommended for the Donator Zone as they are ineffective there.

The Fight

The fight is fairly basic and similar for both bosses:

• If you are not in melee range, the boss will use Ranged attacks — pray accordingly.
• If you are in melee range, use Protect from Melee.

Pushback Attack

• If you're not standing at the edge of the arena, the boss may use a pushback special attack that knocks you backward and deals damage.
• Avoid this by:
  • Letting the boss walk to you while hugging the wall before attacking
  • Using a Craw's Bow instead of melee in the open Wilderness

Red Bear Traps

• Avoid standing on red bear traps — they deal damage on contact.

Notes

• Callisto is high-risk, high-reward and best done with a group.
• Artio is safer and more accessible, especially in DI.
• Always bring escape gear and be alert for PKers in the Wilderness.
