Bigg's Mining Guide

1-15 Mining

• Buy a Pickaxe from Shanomi at ::shop.
• Teleport using the tree at ::home to the Mining Guild (not the donator version) and mine Copper and Tin ore.

Tip: You can reach level 15 Mining while starting your Smithing skill, since you will mine some ore anyway. See: ⁠smithing.

15-30 Mining

• Teleport using the tree at ::home to the Mining Guild (not donator version) and mine Iron ore.

If you are a donator, you can use the donator teleport which takes you straight there.

30-40 (or 99) Mining

• Teleport using the tree at ::home to the Mining Guild (not donator version) run south east until you reach the bank, and mine Coal ore.

If you are a donator, you can use the donator teleport to the mining guild which takes you straight there.

Tip: purchase a coal bag from Shanomi at ::shops so you can mine for longer before banking.

40-99 Alternative

• Teleport to the Wilderness Resource area via a skilling necklace, which can be bought at ::shops and mine gold ore.

Note: you will receive double ore in the resource area, so it may be slightly quickly xp than coal ore if you're efficient, but it is also much more click intensive, considering that you have to drop all the ore you mine. You can also be stopped by pkers.

92-99 AFK Method

• Teleport using the tree at ::home to the Mining Guild.
• If using the non-donator version, run southeast to the Amethyst rocks west of the bank.
• If using the donator version, the teleport takes you directly to the Amethyst rocks.

This method is much more AFK-friendly.
