Preparing for the fight
Crazy Archaeologist is a boss located in the Wilderness. Unless you are a donator, you will be fighting him in PvP zones, so bring gear you are comfortable potentially losing to PKers.
How to get there
- The fastest method is using a Ghorrock teleport to reach deep Wilderness.
- From there, run south-east to the Crazy Archaeologist’s location.
The Ghorrock Teleport can be bought in ::shops under Common Market → Teleports
Alternatively, as a donator you can fight this boss outside of the wilderness at ::di then run west through the gates to the Donator Boss Zone.
Gear recommendations
- Bring your best magic gear that you are comfortable risking in the Wilderness.

The fight
During the fight:
- Pray Ranged throughout.
- Attack using magic.
Special attack: Rain of Knowledge
- Occasionally, Crazy Archaeologist will shout:
"Rain of knowledge!"
- He will throw explosive projectiles:
- Step away from the first explosions.
- Watch for the secondary hand-shaped explosions that appear shortly after and dodge them too.
